Brick Lane is famous for its many curry houses and recently the area has also broadened to being a vibrant art and fashion student area. It runs from Swanfield Street in the northern part of Bethnal Green, passes through Spitalfields and is linked to Whitechapel High Street. The nearest Tube stations are Aldgate East and Liverpool Street.

One of the surprising things we found was that street names is written in Bengali and lamp-posts are painted red and green for the national flag of Bangladesh. This area is also named "Little India" because of all the Arabic, Indian and Bangladeshis immigrants setlling there.
