Properties and Features

D3O is considered to be one of the top ten materials of the future; The material has excellent shock absorption, energy absorption, buffering performance and other properties. As a kind of non-Newtonian fluid. the material stays loose in its normal state, soft and flexible, and when it is hit or squeezed hard, the molecules immediately lock onto each other, quickly tightening and hardening to absorb the external force, forming a protective layer^[6]. Because of this D3O as a very high impact absorption capacity and can react differently to different impact situations within nanoseconds^[7], By this way, it is a much lighter material than traditional protective gear and fits well to the protective area, so it is an ideal material for combining free movement with impact protection. It is soft and elastic. Also, it has a good rigid intensity and wear-resisting performance. The antibacterial property and deodorization of it is good. Besides, it is an environmentally friendly material. It is safe and non-toxic. It is easy to recycle and will not do harm for the environment.
