Hi all,

Is there a way to let users search the content of a module? The only search capabilities I have found so far is the search box on top which either lets you search for user or modules, and a search forum function. What I would like to be able to do is being able to search the content of a module for specific words, and get a list of where they occur. Is there such function?

There was a brief discussion about this earlier in the year, the answer to your question appearing to be (unfortunately) that there is no such functionality available:

For content heavy courses in QMplus I think this would be a great development (even better if there was an option to search across all modules on which you are enrolled), but I suspect it would require a new plug-in. I don't think it's a function that will appear in the upgraded QMplus.

Gill's response to the earlier thread did suggest that someone somewhere is developing a 'Global Search' tool.
