Upon creation of a new activity (i.e. forum in a blog-like format) certain permissions are assigned to the teacher role by default.

Teachers are able to:

• Access all posts
• Delete any posts

For the purpose of Year 1's reflective writing this is innapropriate, as teachers should only be able to see the forum posts made by their own groups of students (and not that of other groups). Teacher ideally should also not be able to delete a student's post, to be on the safe side.

Tldr: Is there a possibility to delete these permissions from the teacher role as they are assigned to the forum activity by default? I have tried doing this using Maria's higher level of priviliges but this was impossible. Is anyone with even higher level of access able to edit this?

Hi Maria/Sheko,

It would probably be better to raise this issue as a Helpdesk ticket so that a member of the support team can have a look and see if they can find a suitable solution for you.
