Is there any way of customizing what is on the Welcome Page. The course I am responsible for is not showing up and courses I do not necessarily need to see on a regular basis are. I have found ways of changing the order in the long list. Is still possible for the shorter list?

There is currently no way to do this. The browse modules block is not related to My QMplus in any way. We are planning to point the link at the bottom of the block that says  'All modules' to 'My QMplus' which may help but doesn't solve your problem.

The My Recent Courses dropdown will show the last 6 mods/courses you visited.

We are thinking about this block and how to make it useful in Moodle 2.8, but the fact remains that the homepage is not the first point of call for most students, they use School landing pages, these pages use the Module dashboard.

I hope that we can offer a solution to this soon.
