Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that we will be running our new 'Online Support Chat' sessions from next week again (details are below). The aim of providing online support is to help those who cannot attend a drop in session, might be working from home or abroad or simply need help with an issue. Please could you recommend this to any users who you know would be happy to attend including yourselves.

We have a post on the website: http://www.elearning.capd.qmul.ac.uk/news/online-support-chat/

The information is pasted below:

Week: 16th-20th March 2015

Do you have a support query and can't physically attend a drop session? If you can't find the answers or just need some support, book a 15 minute slot with us from 10am-4pm any day, during the week above.

How to book

To book a slot email elearning@qmul.ac.uk and we will confirm your time within 24 hours. Please note we have 4 slots which are subject to availability and you MUST book two days in advance.

How to drop in online

You should have Lync installed on your managed PC’s in the College. Log in to Lync using your QMUL credentials. If you do not have Lync installed follow this link prior to your slot. Search for the Instructor’s name (you will receive this via email) who is running the session and that’s it – fire away with your questions!

These sessions are not intended for staff who are new to QMplus and want a general overview of the system. Our “Getting Started with QMplus” sessions are better suited to this. Please see our course booking system for the next available session.

To make use of your time most effectively please have questions ready, you may be asked to screen share or talk through Lync call.

Thanks Anisa,

Would you mind sending your message through to our Department on sllf@qmul.ac.uk? I'm sure our teachers will appreciate it. It makes more sense coming from eLearning than forwarded on by me, in my opinion.
