Unzipping Folder in QMplus (Uploading multiple files as a zipped folder)
13 July 2015, 13:11
Hi,
Is it still possible to unzip a folder, I can't find the icon to unzip from step 4, am I doing something wrong?

Kind regards,

Hi Stuart,
It is still possible but the user interface looks a bit different. Once you've created the folder and uploaded the zip file you should see an icon for the file you've uploaded. If you click on it, you should get a pop up window with some more options in it, one of which is to unzip the file.
Sorry, our user guide needs to be updated.

Hi Gill,
Thanks for the reply, I still can't find any icon next to the uploaded file in SBSM042 (http://qmplus.qmul.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=4663).
Kind regards,
Stuart

Hi Stuart,
It looks like the screenshot from that guide is from a previous version of QMplus. The steps are mostly the same (add an activity > Folder > upload your zip file > save and return to course).
Once that's done, you should be able to open the folder > click 'Edit' > and right-click the uploaded zip file to reveal a new set of options in a pop-up window. On that new window you should see the 'unzip' option, which will add all of the zipped files to your folder.
Here's a short video showing the steps: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ach5hh9pf2wde9y/QMplus%20ZIP%20Folder.mp4?dl=0
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
