Is it possible to restore a book module within one QMplus area into another? It's been possible to backup the book that requires cloning, but I am unable to see how to restore it.

Hi Hassan,

The book will need to be restored by a site admin so I would advise that you raise a ticket for this request with a link to the book and the course it needs to be copied to.

Thanks

I am having the same issue and I do have course administration rights. I have backed up GEG4209 14/15 but I am unable to restore the page into an existing course as error messages keep appearing. I have tried to search for all different relevant phrases to bring up the correct module but it keeps saying 'there are no courses to display.'

Has anyone got any advice on how to resolve this?

Hi Hassan,

Instead of trying Backup and Restore did you try the 'Import' method. Go to the target course and click on import, this will allow you to select a source course and then particular activities or resources. I just tried it and it worked, I imported the SLLF student handbook to my test course.

Best,

Manoj

Thank you Rume, thank you Manoj. I realised we were attempting to restore under the user's account and not mine. Only backing up worked on the user's account.

Hi Eleanor,

I shall pop over tomorrow and can take a look for you.

Kind Regards,
