The CAPD run a research seminar series and the next two events may be of particular interest to e-learning practitioners:

  • 12th November 13.30-14.30 - Dr Philippa Sheail from the University of Edinburgh will be talking about "Global gatherings and digital divides: internationalisation and the digital in higher education".
  • 10th December 13.00-14.00 - Dr Jeremy Pritchard from the School of Biosciences at the University of Birmingham will be talking about "Lecture flipping: it's all about the assessment"

You will find details of both these events, including links to book yourself a place, on the CAPD research seminars page on the CAPD website.  Lunch is provided for those who book.

The seminars are also followed up with sharing practice sessions. If you are interested in the topics raised in the research seminars, why not sign up to come along to a sharing practice session for a more in depth discussion?  You will find details for these sessions on the sharing practice seminars page on the CAPD website.  Again, lunch is provided for those who book.
