Is it possible to authorise Turnitin assignment area access without users being able to view the QMplus area it resides in? A teacher has requested this type of setup for assistant and external markers on their Turnitin assignment area.

Hi Hassan,

In response to your question, unfortunately you cannot do this as the turnitin assignment will be in the QMplus course area. Once they are enrolled on the course they will be able to view all topics as well as the turnitin assignments.

Hope that helps

Hi Anisa,

Thank you for your reply. It does help.

Chris Sparks in the School of History mentioned the permissions systems, which looks like it has the potential to meet this requirement, especially if it's administered specific to a QMplus area - through a new role type and what looks like plenty of initial fiddling around. For now I'll suggest the teacher downloads all assignments and passes them onto teaching assistants for marking.
