backing up QMplus areas

Is it still a requirement that we keep our own backup copy of QMplus areas in .mbz?

I ask as I currently backup to the unlimited storage available on QMUL's Google Apps for Education.

It would be interesting to know what others do.

I'm also weighing up whether it's worth suggesting a more direct QMplus backup area connection to Google Drive on the QMplus Development and Plugin Tracker. I currently resort to downloading .mbz files, before uploading to Google Drive.
