The Learning Development team are running an event on the 8th of June which promises to be very interesting not least because of its use of clickers.  I am attaching the details of the event as circulated by the Learning Development team and this includes a link to Eventbrite where you can find out more and book to attend.

We have invited an educational specialist, Dr. Nicholas Bowskill, to come to QMUL on 8th June to present his innovative methodology, which is highly engaging and involves a combination of “snowball” discussion and clicker technology. It is designed to generate multiple perspectives and encourage reflective awareness.

The topics he is covering are
  • A Student-Generated Approach to Integrating Reading into Writing and Avoiding Plagiarism
  • Student-Generated Induction

Participants are welcome to attend either session or both.
