Hello,

Are you or your colleagues interested in video in teaching? Would you like to learn more about the benefits of using video in teaching? Come along to the next session the ELU are running next week, 16/02 14:30-16:30!

Course description: videos provide a rich medium for teaching and can be used to create motivating and inclusive learning experiences.  Videos can explain complex information to students and can also become a powerful expressive tool.  Our QMplus Media service provides staff with an easy way to upload video content to use in their teaching.  Videos can be viewed easily on a variety of different devices.   Recent updates to the service provide an even more powerful tool particularly with the addition of a video assignment, to allow students to upload their own video content for assessment, and the ability to create simple video quizzes.

The session will cover:
The benefits of using video in teaching
Uploading and playing videos via QMplus
Recording and uploading videos from mobile devices
Creating a screen recording using the Google Chrome browser plugin
Issues relating to video and copyright.

Please feel free to forward this to any colleagues you think would be interested.

Please book via the online booking system here: https://www.esdcourses.org.uk/listcourse.php
