This is a reminder that the Q-Review upgrade is due to take place during next week – starting on Monday, 7th August. Staff and students will still be able to view Q-Review recordings, but new recordings will not take place during the upgrade. Please see more information below.

What to expect:

The upgrade requires existing Q-Review appliances within the classrooms to be reconfigured and a new VLAN set-up. This will require a period of down-time when new recordings cannot be created, however existing recordings will still be viewable. We anticipate the upgrade to take approximately 1 week in duration, although this could overrun by a couple of days. We will try to keep disruption to a minimum.

This is first major upgrade of Q-Review since we rolled out the system over 5 years ago. The environment will look different after the upgrade, but hopefully it will be intuitive for users. The new environment will bring a host of new features, some of which will be optional and made available in the near future. We will shortly be sending around short guidance to help those who need it to navigate the new system, and we will be offering training sessions to cover existing and new features.
