Q-Review Information
17 January 2018, 17:14
Dear Colleagues,
Due to several issues regarding Q-review recordings and equipment, I would like to remind all users that Q-review is not designed to capture the content of whiteboards, and should be used exclusively for the recording of the presenter and digital content via the classroom computers (powerpoint slides, websites etc). This is mainly due to the fact that the quality of the content captured via the whiteboards cannot be guaranteed, and the positioning of whiteboards within classrooms is not always within the view of Q-Review Cameras.
We therefore ask that Q-review cameras and other materials not be repositioned within classrooms. If the recording of Whiteboard content is required, we would urge all users to utilise alternative methods such as the use of document cameras which should be present in all classrooms. For further information on what is recorded please see our official guide documentation found here: https://elearning.qmul.ac.uk/guide/what-can-i-record/.
As always, you are welcome to contact the E-Learning Unit for further guidance if this is required, and we welcome all suggestions.
Regards,
Kwabena Adjei-Owusu
