(apologies for any cross-posting)

I am writing to let you know of an update we will be making to the Groups and Portfolios theme this week.

The update primarily addresses the issues users have been experiencing with navigating between the two systems easily. We have added a new navigation link to the QMplus home page from the Primary navigation bar (top left)..as well as a link back to My QMplus. In addition we have recnfigured the QMplus logo to take users back to QMpus home as it does everywhere else on the site.

Here is a list of the enhancements.

QMplus groups and portfolios

• New ‘links and resources’ menu enabled so that links can be provided in different parts of Mahara to help documentation (and a link back to My QMplus)
• Tidied up display of personal info (padding issues)
• Shibboleth authentication block added to Mahara logged out homepage (should be configured shortly after the theme is applied)
• Primary horizontal navigation has been altered
  • Added a link to QMplus homepage to the far left
  • Added a link to MyQMplus next to the home page link above
  • The QMplus logo top left of the header now takes the user back to the home page of QMplus (not homepage of Groups and Portfolios)

All going well the theme should be installed on Tuesday morning 19 Feb between 7 - 9 am
