Hi Gill

I've just replicated your problem and found the solution.

1. If you have still got the 'Latest news' block on the page then DELETE it (if not go to next step)

2. Go to the 'Add a block' and select 'Latest news' block

3. This should add the block to the page ..the new block has the words 'Add a new topic' in it...click on that link

4. Post a message to the forum

5. Hey presto the news forum has reappeared at the bottom of topic zero.

Thanks for that.  I've found that I don't need to delete the Latest news block.  If I just do "Add new topic..." the news forum reappears.
