Hi,

What is the best way to upload/link to a Prezi in QM plus? It would be good to have a front image on display like with the youtube videos.

Hi Ruth,

First you would need to get the "embed code" of the Prezi that you would like to use.

 

1. Retrieve the embed code

You can find this under the share button on the web-page of the respective Prezi.  This process involves copying some text (html code) and is explained here - http://prezi.com/learn/embedding/

 

2. Insert the embed code

Next, you will need to place that text in the correct location within QMplus.  After "turning editing on", select 'Label' from the "Add a resource" drop-down menu.  Click the HTML (edit HTML source) button in the text editor.  A "HTML source editor" text box will appear.  Paste the embed code into the text box, click update and then click "Save and return to course" to save your edits to the 'Label' resource.

 

You should find the embeded Prezi displayed on your page.

 

Note: Within the "My groups and portfolios" section, the process of step 2 (insert the embed code) is slightly different.  You will need to use the "Some html" content block.
