Dear all

Does anyone know if it's possible to search within a module (eg search the content of books etc) and if so how? Is there a block I need to add to get this?

Hi Mark,

On first look, it would appear that there isn't currently a block for searching content on QMplus. I found the following Moodle tracker item on global search which implies that there isn't anything at the moment.  Moodle tracker pages aren't the most user friendly things to read.

Dear Gill

Just to note that this is a requirement that has been expressed in the School of English and Drama as well (a function for searching content within a module area / Course in QMplus). There clearly is some ongoing work on Global Search, but presumably we're not going to see it in QMplus before 2015 at the earliest?
