E-Feedback evaluation Project seminar

The Open University and University of Manchester are running an online workshop based on the findings from their e-Feedback Evaluation Project (eFeP). This workshop focuses on the effectiveness of different modes of tutor feedback on student assignments. Drawing on our work on the project, the workshop will combine a presentation of the project’s findings illustrated with specific examples from OU language assignments, reflection on participants’ own experiences and a general discussion.
Aims of the session
- to report on the findings from the e-Feedback Evaluation Project
- to discuss the affordances of different media for giving students feedback
- to introduce a set of evaluation tools for assignment feedback
- to encourage self-reflection on current practices and issues
- to discuss a range of strategies for promoting student engagement and feedback dialogue
Who should attend
