Colleagues at Queen Mary who have an interest in Assessment and Feedback may be interested in this webinar:

The Open University and University of Manchester are running an online workshop based on the findings from their e-Feedback Evaluation Project (eFeP).  This workshop focuses on the effectiveness of different modes of tutor feedback on student assignments. Drawing on our work on the project, the workshop will combine a presentation of the project’s findings illustrated with specific examples from OU language assignments, reflection on participants’ own experiences and a general discussion.

 Aims of the session

  • to report on the findings from the e-Feedback Evaluation Project
  • to discuss the affordances of different media for giving students feedback
  • to introduce a set of evaluation tools for assignment feedback
  • to encourage self-reflection on current practices and issues
  • to discuss a range of strategies for promoting student engagement and feedback dialogue
