Please be aware that QMplus is expected to be in maintenance mode for a period of time between 07:00 and 09:00 on Tuesday 2 July during which time users might experience some disruption to normal service. We expect this outage to last no longer 30 minutes, but it could potentially be an hour or longer. This is due to a scheduled maintenance session to allow for an update to the site.

The following updates will be carried out at this time:

• A drag and drop block will become available to select from the add a block menu so you are able to drag files from your desktop or a folder to a QMplus page. Read more about selecting and using drag and drop here: Drag & Drop.

• A bug affecting collapsed topics format on SBCS module pages will be fixed. Blocks will no longer move to the bottom of the page when “collapsed topics QMUL” is selected as the module format.

• A bug affecting the appearance of modules has been fixed. The option “Use default section name” will no longer become unchecked each time the Assessment overview section is edited. Having this option checked prevents a dark grey horizontal line appearing in topic zero between the Summary section, which holds  either static text or news from the module announcements forum, and the Assessment Overview section at the top of each module page.

• A configuration change has taken place in assignments: instead of deleting files that have been submitted to online assignments, users will be only able to overwrite them with a new file.

• A bug affecting the Send for Marking button in assignments has been fixed. If a user switches from 67% to 75% in Chrome on an assignment where the file is uploaded as a draft the ‘send for marking’ button will no longer be covered by a scroll bar

• Theme Updates: new icons are available for Scorm activities and E-portfolios and resource or activity description text now indents to start in line with the item's title rather than the icon for a neater appearance.
• The rollover block will appear below the menu block in the left column of each module page. Read more about what you need to do during rollover here: QMplus Rollover.
