Rotating PDFs
25 May 2012, 16:01
Dear Sue,
The orientation of PDF documents is something that is not set by the QMplus system. This is something decided by the creator of the document. They create it (including setting page orientations), save it and then upload it.
As a viewer using Adobe Acrobat reader, you can rotate an entire PDF document using the rotate clockwise/counter-clockwise button:-
Or alternatively with the keyboard shortcuts:-
Clockwise 90 degrees: Control key (Ctrl), Shift key and Addition key (+)
Counter clockwise 90 degrees: Control key (Ctrl), Shift key and Subtraction key (-)

Thanks for the keyboard shortcuts Lawal, these are useful when you export the .pdf from Moodle into Adobe reader (right click Save As). I have also discovered you can right click the .pdf and choose 'rotate clockwise' (see image) and this can obviously be done as many times as is needed to 'right' the .pdf.
