I am exploring the format of the main page to show weeks 

see ... [turn editing on] [ click the spanner image] [ set structure] [ week or topic]

but I see that week 1 is shown as the 8 - 14 september but the QMUL web site shows the semester as starting on the 17 September - a week later.

Can the QMPLUS weeks be adjusted to align with the QMUL semesrter dates?

Dear Terry,

Currently we're not automatically setting the dates on the module areas on QMplus i.e. the dates you are seeing are not coming from any central college system.  

You can set the dates on your module area on QMplus yourself.  To do this go to the "Settings" block in your module area and go to Course Administration>Edit Settings.  Scroll down to "Course Start Date" and set the start date as required. The semester starts on 17th but teaching starts on 24th so some staff that I've been working with have been setting their start dates to 24th). Remember to scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Changes". 

It may be possible to move to a situation where we automatically set the course start date on a QMplus module based on information obtained from SITS but currently we're not doing this.
