Turnitin Assignment Activity

Hi,
Just tried the Turnitin Assignment activity and got the following error:
- line 435 of /lib/setuplib.php: moodle_exception thrown
- line 7058 of /mod/turnitintool/lib.php: call to print_error()
- line 183 of /mod/turnitintool/comms.php: call to turnitintool_print_error()
- line 263 of /mod/turnitintool/comms.php: call to turnitintool_commclass->xmlToSimple()
- line 130 of /mod/turnitintool/comms.php: call to turnitintool_commclass->getSessionid()
- line 111 of /mod/turnitintool/lib.php: call to turnitintool_commclass->startSession()
- line 447 of /course/modedit.php: call to turnitintool_add_instance()

Hi Gary,
Following ULCC's update, there are a number of things the team need to configure directly on QMplus so we can use all the new tools. We're hoping to get this completed fairly soon and I'll let you know when it's working.
I hope you're enjoying the other new tools now available on QMplus. I think the OU Blog and OU Wiki have a lot of potential as online learning activities and the certificate activity could be useful to to reward students for achieving high grades on formative activities or on QMplus areas which are set up for courses that are not part of formally accredited programmes.

It is working but is there more to do? I noticed that it doesn't have an available from option or a due date. I can go into subit.ac.uk and set these in there but is this the best way to do it?
I also used the Grade Anywhere app on the iPad which worked brilliantly, I added a grade and can see it in submit.ac.uk but it has not transferred over to QMplus which I believe it should do.
I did get a receipt acknowleding that I had submitted, this is great.
I think it is getting there and perhaps just need to know the quirks of perhaps setting up in QMplus and submit.ac.uk.

Hi Gary,
You can edit this in QMplus, in fact you can even edit the post date (when grades are released to students) on QMplus with this assignment type which is a distinct advantage of this one over other QMplus assignment types.
You do need to do this in the assignment area itself rather than in the assignment settings (and as you have adminstrator role, I think, you may need to switch role to course leader to see it).
We're working on some user guidance for this and the other new activity types and will let you know as soon as it's available.

That seems to have worked, I just need to have a student to test it out. Do you still have some dummy student accounts? If so can you remind me of the login details.

Hi Joanne,
Another thing. When I go into submit.ac.uk I need to change the due date and post date. When I make the changes and click on submit it does not accept the changes and there is a message at the top "Editing has been disable for this native account".

Gary, this sounds like an error. Can you raise this point through helpdesk please?
