Does this need to be there?

New postgraduate students have been asking why are MBBS and GEPs welcomed on the main page and not others. Yesterday I was demoing QMplus to some intercalated students, they are MBBS students themselves, and were the first to ask why it was there.

Staff have also asked about this..

Dear Gary,

That is in place to allow students to enter the MBBS heirarchy prior to this being done automatically. My understanding is the automatic redirection will occur from tomorrow so the block with disappear then.

Sadly the my modules block doesn't work well as the students will have 60+ modules within it.

Hi Mark,

The feedback I got from the students was that it made them feel not as important as the MBBS and GEP students as it specifically welcomes them and no one else. Perhaps for next year it could be MBBS and GEP click here to access your course.

I had the opportunity last week to see another MBBS course at another university and it was much simpler.
