Is QMplus Running Slow

I have tried QMplus on a number of connections including at the college and it seems to be running much slower than usual. It has been like this for me for the past few weeks. Has anyone else noticed this?

We have definitely noticed this in the English and Drama Admin team.

I have also noticed this and have raised it twice at Delivery team meetings..including the one I just left.
I have heard that we have indeed exceeded the 5 second page response time alert five times yesterday. ULCC were notified and have subsequently done some optimisation of our servers.
I understand that we haven't had any alerts today so far
It is a busy time of year and lots of people are uploading content..in addition I have never seen so many users at the same time >400 yesterday simultaneous users a first for QMplus!).
These are not excuses. We must all be vigilant ..and I have been told that we must raise help-desk tickets if we feel the servers are running too slow. Our hosts have contractural obligations to ensure a smooth , fast and reliable service so we have to hold them to account if the service doesn't measure up.

I was struggling this afternoon. I was just moving things around and it was taking approximately 30 seconds for each step so to move something took over a minute each time. As no one else had said anything I was wondering if it was me.
I was having a look at a Moodle install at another university last week and it was considerably faster. I checked it against ours on the same connection. So I guess there is something ULCC can do.
Thanks for trying to get it addressed, I will add something to the help desk. I have to demo at an induction tomorrow so I hope faster than the induction I did on Monday.
