It has been reported that emails to students and other users are not being sent from the Announcement and News forums in QMplus.

This issue is being looked at by IT Services and is being treated as urgent.

The Forum Email issue has been resolved.

Please let us know if you still experience any problems by raising a helpdesk ticket in the first instance.

Does it mean that all the "past" announcements have now been sent via email - or do we need to re-send them manually?

Dear Nathalie and QMplus community,

I've checked with IT Services and the answer is that they *may* have been sent if they were still in the email queue when the problem was fixed.

If it is still relevant, it is recommended that you resend your forum message via QMplus - possibly preface it with a note indicating that it is being resent just in case they hadn't received the first one. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that all previous messages were sent.
