Hello everyone

I'm doing a bit of research into the use of e-learning conferencing tools around Queen Mary. Could you let me know if you have paid for a licence to use a piece of software for videoconferencing with your students or research partners (e.g. Adobe Connect Pro).

It would also be interesting to know how many users  would be interested in using conferencing software for live teaching of seminars, lectures presentations etc if it was available?

Thanks in advance

Hello Brett,

Yes, we currently pay for an annual licence for Adobe Connect for Video Conferencing. Our French department uses it mostly for a collaborative teaching project every year between QM and the University of Lille in France. We also use it for our own meetings - e.g. For an EU-funded project we're involved in with partner universities in Europe, and also to collaborate with other practitioners in UK HE.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
