The E-Learning Unit is running the event ’Mobile Technology in Teaching and Learning’ on Thursday 3rd April 2014. This event is beneficial to everybody who is involved in either teaching at QML or managing E-learning activities within their school/faculty/institute. As well as discussing introductory concepts around mobile learning, we will also hear from QML colleagues engaged in a variety of mobile initiatives such as:

• Dentistry – Mobile apps for Teaching and Assessment – Wendy Turner
• SLLF – Turnitin iPad app for Assessment and Feedback - Linnaea Stockall
• Chemistry – Samsung tablets in Chemistry Teaching - Nathalie Lebrasseur
• Physics –   App covering essential teaching and learning materials - Predrag Micakovic
• Blizzard Institute – Role of media in delivering teaching content - Oluyori Adegun

The event will end with a panel discussion and there will be ample opportunity for questions. Lunch will then be provided.
