According to the research which was conducted by the OECD, there were more than 4.3 million university students abroad at the end of 2013, and this number is still rising (The OECD,2013).This essay will consider intrinsic motivations such as learning a new language, and extrinsic motivations which include to have a special experience and to learn skills of living alone of students to chose study abroad and it will conclude that the most important is to gain the “International recognition”.
Firstly, the most significant reason of study out of their motherland for students is to gain the “International recognition”(Top Universities, 2014). Nearly 20% of international university students considered that compared with their local universities, a world-famous college is far more valuable in the areas of academic recognition and education, and if they could have a diploma from any well-known university, they will find it easier to find a good work opportunity (Tucker, 2014). Moreover, learning a new language is a important motivation for them to decide to spend their study time in other countries , especially to use this as a tool of receiving offers from International companies (Mazzarol and Soutar ,( 2002). Furthermore ,these are mainly extrinsic motivations of most of the people to stay at a foreign college (Top Universities, 2014)
Secondly, there are two noticeable aims which make students want to study abroad : to have a special experience and to learn skills of living alone(The University of Texas at Austin, n.d.).Foreign students have to face many challenges than the average students, not only in their lessons, but also in their daily life experiences (Tucker, 2014). People who chose to study abroad are often willing to experience a colorful time and become strong and independent through their international study (Tucker, 2014). These two reasons are the most intrinsic of all the answers from students (Mazzarol and Soutar , 2002).
In conclusion, students study at another country because of these reasons : to earn The International recognition, to have a special experience, and to learn new languages , but mostly for achieving a good work offer in The future.

Reflection of rewrite
Last week I finished my first essay. The topic of this essay is not difficult to understand. After reading the sample, I have basically understood what should I do. I got a B for my writing, which is very surprised. However, if I can prepare it more adequately, maybe it is not impossible to get A.
To do it better at the next time, I think I should reduce the mistakes in grammar and word spelling, and plan the structure more carefully. The writing is a bit hasty for me, time is not enough, and it caused a bad reference. My next paper should avoid such problems.
After rewriting, I made up for some of the shortcomings in the essay, and made a slight adjustment to the structure. For me, reading the subject and conceiving content is not a problem. The key is that I often make grammatical mistakes and feel that it is very difficult to write sentences. Therefore, writing time is often not enough. I am worried about this. In this exercise, the requirements are not difficult. Our formal exams need to write double the number of words, and it is a complicated challenge to search for unknown information independently. I hope that I can write better this time.
The Gainsborough painting
What I found in the national gallery is the "blue". To this day, the blue on these paintings is nothing special, but in the 18th century in England, they caused a lot of discussion.
To make the story simpler, let's take a look at the author of these paintings.
Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788),a British. Together with Joshua Reynolds, he was the most famous British portrait painter in the late 18th century and the founder of the 18th century English landscape school.
Gainsborough has become famous since the age of 33, and Reynolds, who was promoted to dean of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1768, is also a portrait painter. He was jealous and often unkind to Gainsborough. So Reynolds and Gainsborough formed two opposing factions, criticizing each other. British art lovers are often at odds because they are split up. One day, when Reynolds was teaching his students at the college, he said that cold colors, especially blue, could not be used, let alone in the main position in the middle of the picture. When Gainsborough learned of it,he painted <The blue boy> in a large amount of blue to show contempt of Reynolds.
<The blue boy> is a useful exploration in the history of painting and a powerful rebuttal to Reynolds, who wants to limit the development of art in a fixed mode. It also has a great influence on the painting style of later generations, since then there have been many blue-themed paintings come to the world. This is not only a new use of a color, but also a powerful refutation of authority and a great contribution to the field of art.
