Short Literature Review

The continuous research on 2D materials since the discovery of graphene has led to the development of many new 2D materials. MXene, first discovered in 2011, has become a growing family of 2D ceramic materials with great promise. MXene can be expressed as M_n+1X_nTx. Where M and X respectively represent transition metals and C, N. Tx is the surface terminations of materials like OH or F^[5].

MXene materials have extensive uses as the diversity of surface terminations and solutions provide limitless combinations of characteristics.

MXene has been introduced in the preparation of SERS substrate for Spectroscopic analysis due to their unique physicochemical properties and chemical enhancement mechanisms^[7].

Besides, the great Capacitance performance of MXene nanosheets makes it a potential choice for high-quality capacitor^[8].
