Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows of any school that processes paper MCQs in-house. We do a small amount in SBCS using the photocopier scanner, image J software and further prosessing in Excel with a bit of VBA. I know LEMS do it and we use them for exam MCQ processing but just wanted to know what else is out there.

Thanks,

Stuart

Re: Paper based MCQ processing

We used to many years ago in Materials.  We did have / may still have / a proper document scanner somewhere.  It came with some awful software IIRC - I'll see what I can track down if you like.  Now do everything online and/or via clickers.

Re: Paper based MCQ processing

The Medicine program use the speedwell system for this with special papers and scanners associated with this.

Hope that is useful
