Foam molding

The process involves pouring or injecting the mixture into a preheated mold through a mixing head. The mixture react within the mold, causing the mixture to bubble and rise. The whole foaming process takes 5-10 minutes. Then, continuous slabs are produced by pouring the mixture onto a moving conveyor. There is another conveyor system to form the top of the foam. Finally, when the foam has cured, the surface is smooth, the density is uniform, and the obturator rate is high[3].
