Processing route

Incoloy800

Smelting process:

Incoloy800 alloy can be melted by non-vacuum induction with electro-slag, arc furnace with electro-slag, arc furnace with vacuum arc and vacuum induction with vacuum arc. High-quality Incoloy800 alloy can be melted by vacuum induction with vacuum arc process.

Forging process:

Incoloy800 alloy is heated at 1150 ~ 900°C. During hot working, the workpiece can be directly fed into the furnace that has reached the temperature. When the furnace is warm, the material's moisturizing time is 60 minutes per 10 mm thickness. Moisture to the prescribed time immediately out of the furnace, in the prescribed temperature range processing. If the temperature of the metal falls below the minimum processing temperature, it should be reheated again.

Heat treatment process:

The temperature range of softening annealing or stabilization treatment is 920-980°C, and the suitable temperature is 940°C. Water quenching or rapid air cooling are recommended for workpieces with thickness greater than 1.5mm to obtain maximum creep resistance.
