By the end of 2017, the total mileage of China's highways had reached 477.35 million km and that of expressways had reached 136.5 million km. The total number of highway tunnels in China had reached 16,229 and the total mileage had reached 15,285,51m. After the tunnel is built, it will become the channel through which groundwater gathers near the mountain body. If the waterproof and drainage methods and facilities of tunnels are not perfect, there will be huge problems. Therefore, we were extremely interested about waterproof board for highway engineering and finally chose the basic waterproof board, EVA waterproof board, which is widely used in highway construction. 

  In the whole process, besides the information about EVA, we also learned the harm of leakage water to tunnel engineering and the cause of damage, the method of tunnel waterproof board construction, and the classification and quality control of waterproof slabs for highway engineering. Most importantly, we learned how to make webpages.

  In this group activity, what we went well was teamwork. We had a clear division of labor and high efficiency. This did not mean that we had never had problems or disagreements. But after discussion and joint research, we could always solve problems, unify our views and put forward the best plan.
